Yan ang bagong bisyo ni Tikboy.. sa tuwing naha-high blood siya hinahaplos ni Misis ang pwet niya at voila! kumakalma siya. Hmmm.. nito lang natuklasan ni Misis Tikboy na may calming effect pala ang paghaplos niya sa pwet ni Tikboy.. hehehe! Saraaaaap!

This week we followed up our anniversary getaway with another 2 nights and 2 days of spending time together. But we didn't book a tour or even get out of the room except to eat dinner. We just spent time together talking, sleeping and you-know-what. Ang tamad tamad namin! Nag-iisip na naman nga siya ng bonding moment namin, muntik pang mapagdiskitahan ang kilay ko! Buti na lang na-divert ang attention *wink*

Haaaay.. kung pwede lang wag na matapos ang mga araw na magkasama kami.. kung pwede lang na araw-araw nakahilata lang kami sa kama habang nagkukwentuhan at nang-ookray ng mga kaibigan. Pero syempre, kailangan namin mag-trabaho. Kaya kailangan muna namin maghiwalay. Sana tumama na ako sa lotto! Ehek!

Anniversary Getaway

Nag-anniversary getaway kami ni Misis Tikboy this week. We started off with SATC 2 last Tuesday. Reminiscing na rin kasi before we got back together two years ago SATC din ang pinanood namin sa Pilipinas. We never thought that two years after that we'll be here in the States... or better yet I'll be here. Haaay...

The next day we went to Muir Woods, had lunch at the Spinnaker (Sausalito) and then went to The Rock (Alcatraz Island). Kakapagod pero it was worth it. Nagustuhan namin ang Muir Woods. Sayang kulang ang isang oras para ma-enjoy namin siya. Naisip tuloy namin na mag-tour ulit next time na magbabakasyon kaming dalawa. Sa totoo lang kulang kasi talaga ang 4 days sa amin. Pag magkasama kasi kami ambilis-bilis ng oras. Parang hinahatak! Kainis.

Sa last day/night namin together nagkulay naman kami ng buhok at nag-movie marathon kami - Babe, I love you and Miss You Like Crazy. Girl time/bonding time daw. Hehehe.. ambilis talaga ng oras.. haaaay... back to work na naman ako in a few hours.

Two Years Later...

We just got back from watching Sex and the City 2 and dinner at Tastebuds. Anniversary kasi namin. It's exactly two years ago since we rekindled our relationship. Two years... wow...we're still here.

Frequent Flier

I think flying is second nature to me now. It doesn't bother me anymore. Security checks are just normal. I think I pretty much memorize every nook and cranny of Sky Harbor Airport. Petty soon, I'll be a member of Southwest's A-List just because of the thousands of miles that I have accrued with flying. And now, with "nookie", my 2 hours flight is just a so-so.

Later tonight, I'll be somewhere where it's cooler and I'll probably get a massage...plus more *wink*.

Do I mind flying? Heck, no.

I happen to surf on a Friends rerun this afternoon where Ross liked an English lady named Emily. On the day she was supposed to fly back to England Ross finally realized that he loves her. He talked to his sister, Monica, about it and she convinced her to go back to the airport and tell Emily how he really feels. Monica was confident that the girl will say "I love you" back. Ross rushed to the airport and at that defining moment said "I love you" to Emily. The girl just hugged him, said thank you and then boarded the plane leaving Ross dumbfounded and confused.

I thought to myself, I heard that before. Is it a normal response to just say thank you if you are confused about how you feel for a person? For lack of a better word you just say thank you to be polite? Maybe.

A few advertisements after I continued to watch the show and found out that Ross flew to England to talk to the girl but she wasn't home. To the surprise of Monica, Emily flew back to NY to talk to Ross and admit that she loves him.

Aaaahhh.. Friends.

Yes, I do get tired of all the meows and barfs. Minsan tuloy naiisip ko, kung magkasama kaya tayo magtatalo pa rin tayo ng ganito? I know its just little things. Is it healthy? Yes and no. Yes, because if you fight or have a little discussion it means that you care for your partner, for the relationship. No, if it's too much. Sabi mo nga, nakakapagod.

I love you too much that I tend to become selfish at times. And I know it's not fair. I'm sorry.

Kapag off namin..

Naunahan ako ni Misis na mag-post nung Buttons na MTV. Hehehe! Panay nga ang tukso sa akin na sa tuwing maririnig ko daw 'yung ringtone kong 'yun eh maaalala ko siya. Eh totoo naman! Napapangiti talaga ako everytime na tumatawag siya sa akin. May mga nai-imagine kasi ako. Hahaha! Sabi nga niya, that's the reason why she is spoiled - kasi she fulfills my wildest dreams. Oh well *wink* one by one I know she will. Hahaha! May listahan pala!

Today, since parehas kaming off umaga palang magkausap na kami. Sinamahan niya ako sa bus ride hanggang makarating ako sa doctor's appointment ko. Then after that sabay kaming nag-lunch. Ngayon naman, nagsa-shopping siya sa Dillards. 70% off kasi ang mga winter clothes, kaya sinasamahan ko siya. May nakita siyang wool coat na type ko, 2 designs 'yung pinagpipilian niya. 'Yung isa may hood, 'yung isa wala. Sinend niya sa akin ang picture para papiliin ako. Mas pinili ko 'yun may hood, kasi naman super girly 'yun isa! Saka mas kailangan ko 'yung may hood kasi malamig dito. Hehehe!

Nagsa-shop din siya ngayon ng mga dress shirts. May nakita siyang isa na bagay sa akin, alam na alam niya kasi kung ano ang maganda para sa akin. Kaso ayaw na bilhin kasi daw baka marami na naman mahumaling sa akin at mambabae ako. Ehek! Di na ako kumontra kasi forever tatak ko na ang pagiging babaero, aminado na! Hehehe..

Magsusukat muna daw siya kaya heto nagpo-post muna ako habang andun siya sa loob ng fitting room. ;)

Love Is In The Air

It's that time of the year again - sandamakmak na red flowers, stuff toys, teddy bears, chocolates... I've never been a fan Cupid day. Sa akin kasi dapat everyday valentine's day - mas masaya kaya yun! More often than not, yoko makisabay. Sabi ko nga kay Tikboy ko, wag ako bigyan ng flowers eh. Ayokong lumabas at mag date...lalo nang ayoko mag suot ng kulay pula, hahahahahaha! I'd rather stay at home and burn the sheets, mwehehehehehe!

Kidding aside, siguro kung magkasama kami, malamang we'll just stay at home. Cuddle, eat chocolate cake and watch telly o kaya talk nonsense, make fun of everybody while eating chocolate cake (hehehehe! chocolate cake ang common denominator)... Or better yet, hold hands while playing Cafe World or Happy Island. Mababaw lang pero meaningful. I really don't need to be taken to a fancy restaurant or a fancy hotel. Really... gastos lang. Ordinary things become special when we share them. Ganun ata talaga sa aming dalawa.

At dahil love is the air, mega senti ako sa love songs.... everytime this song is played, it always reminds me of my Tikboy.

Right to be Happy

Things are going well for us, we are happy and we are trying to leave the past behind. Slowly, we are making each other feel safe and secure even though we're 793 miles apart. Way better than before. Yet these people, these inconsiderate people who loves to inflict misery on us , keeps on getting in the way. But we will not falter, we will not fall. We will remain strong.

I know I have had my misgivings. But I am trying to be a better person. A better partner to my loving wife. Once I told her when we were still in high school, "You're my first and my last." And that still holds true. Siya ang kauna-unahang babaeng minahal ko. Siya rin ang kahuli-hulihang babae sa buhay ko. Those of you who have known how the story goes will either sympathize with me or hate me. I don't care. All I care about is my Mahal's happiness right now. I am trying my very best to give her everything she needs, everything she wants. I don't want to lose her anymore.

In time, I know, we will get what we pray for. We, too, have a right to be happy.

Kaya sa mga fans na kumokontra, pwede ba? Kung talagang mahal niyo kami (kung sino man sa aming dalawa ang type niyo) magiging masaya kayo na natagpuan namin ulit ang isa't isa. Dahil mahal na mahal namin ang isa't isa at doon kami maligaya.

Anniverary Talk

Hindi namin namalayan ni Tikboy na lumalim ang pag-uusap namin kanina. We were just greeting each other happy anniversary (We have three anniversary dates you see... Feb 8, Oct 3 and June 8). During our talk, I found myself crying while I was texting this to her

Everyday when I wake up, I always thank God for giving me another day... another day to be with Gabe, another day to hear you laugh, another day to see the sun, another day to be with the people that I love and care... And if I do a little thing that made a person laugh or smile, then I feel that my job's done for that day. I've touched another person's life in my own little way.

I always pray that He would give me another day to do these things over and over again.

I love life and I thank God for the life that I have right now.

Napansin ng Mahal ko na matamlay ako kausap kagabi. I had no energy. I knew that I was tired. I was needing a "sugar fix"..... and for some reason I had cravings at 11pm. I wanted Sprinkles cupcakes (yummmm!).

Tikboy: San ba nabibili yan?
Misis: Scottsdale.
Tikboy: Ang layo.
Misis: Oo nga eh.
Tikboy: Gusto mo magpa deliver ako?
Misis: Yoko. Ang mahal ng delivery fee.

BB Curve 8520 on T-Mobile's Even More Plus Plan

Before my birthday I upgraded my BB 8100 to a BB Curve 8520 phone. After getting used to the user interface of RIM phones I find it hard to go back to Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson's Symbian OS or Samsung.Weird huh? My Nokia N70 is a 3G S60 phone as compared to my new Curve 8520. which isn't a 3G phone. I wanted the Bold 9700 but it's too expensive for me right now. Maybe next year.. or maybe not because I'm sure by then they've got newer models to offer.

Form Factor: My BlackBerry Curve 8520's got rubberized feel on it. It's like a no slip grip which I like very much. It's wider then my old 8100 but I like it better. I used to drop my 8100 a lot because of its slippery edges. Now, I am thinking if I'll still buy the silicone slip on because I am loving the feel of my phone.

Keypad: A full QWERTY keyboard is a lot better than the sure type keypad of the old 8100. Now I can text faster than I used to when I was using the sure type keypad or that of the N70 with the dictionary on. I remember the time when I almost won a contest in the Philippines for Nokia's Fastest Texter contest! Kung may full QWERTY keyboard na nun, malamang panalo na ako. Hahaha!

Apps: The top 3 applications that I use on my BB are the following: BB Messenger, Facebook and Google Voice. Good thing I have this BlackBerry unlimited web service for Flexpay which gives me the opportunity to use the BB messenger service, surf the web for as long as I want using my mobile phone as browser or even use it as a tethering device to connect to the Internet in my laptop. The works huh? Last night I was also able to figure out how to use the Google Voice in my BB device. After successfully installing it I tried and send text messages to the Philippines and UK for free! Yep, for free. Kaya nga tuwang-tuwa ako kasi hindi ko na kailangan magbayad ng $0.20 per message kapag magsi-send ako ng message kay Mami. Mwehehehe! Pati na rin kay Conz!

There's a lot of applications which I can download on my BB device but I don't have the time to use all of them. I have Slacker Radio downloaded on my phone and I tried using it last night, it was good. The thing is it eats up my battery.. after listening for 3 straight hours my full battery was reduced to only 10% of its battery life. So, I guess I have to use my iPod Nano 5th gen if I really wanted to listen to my music.

I also changed plan. I used to have a T-Mobile FlexPay 300 with myFaves bundled with the BlackBerry Unlimited Web and Messaging service. I've got 300 Whenever Minutes to use up every month on any domestic call, Unlimited Nights and Weekends and Unlimited call to 5 selected numbers which I will register under myFaves and unlimited messaging (text, email, IM). I was being charged close to $85 a month for that. Now, with T-Mobile's Even More Plus plan I get 500 Whenever Minutes, Unlimited Weeknight and Weekend Minutes, Unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile Minutes. Bundled with that I've also got Premium Handset Insurance Protection and the BlackBerry Unlimited Web all for under $80. Mas tipid!

I am still tinkering with my BB's features.. will post updates on the device soon.

Ito ang simbolo namin ni Misis Tikboy. Compatible talaga kami in so many ways. Sa horoscope match kami - Taurus and Capricorn. Sa Chinese zodiac - Rat and Ox, match pa rin. Wala talaga kaming masabi. Meant to last forever.
