25th monthsary gift

Misis Tikboy got hooked into one of Nintendo Wii's game again. Last week when I went to Redwood City to get my prescription eyeglasses she was telling me all about it. How one can visit another town via wi-fi connection. So, the conversation goes like this:

Misis: Mahal, may internet connection ka naman di ba? Wifi?
Tikboy: Yep, nakakasagap sa kapitbahay.
Misis: So, ibig sabihin pwede ka maglaro ng Wii over WFC?
Tikboy: Pwede kung meron akong Wii. Bakit?
Misis: Naglalaro kasi ako ng Animal Crossing. Naiinggit ako kay Gabe kasi takbo siya ng takbo tapos nangunguha siya ng fruit ng trees ng neighbor niya or friend from another town. Kalaro niya kasi ngayon sina Kobe over the internet tapos nag-uusap sila sa phone habang naglalaro real-time. Wala ako neighbor from another town *sad*
Saka may day off naman ako e.
Misis: Bibili ka ng Wii?
Tikboy: Oo naman. Para makapaglaro tayo.

After Harvest Moon comes Animal Crossing: City Folk. She could sit and play the game 12 hours straight, mind you! So, I got intrigued and at the same time I want to enter in her virtual world (paano ba naman kasi pag naglalaro siya halos di na ako kausapin). And so, today I went out to buy the Wii Sports gaming console and the Animal Crossing: City Folk game.

Uminit pa nga ang ulo ko kasi na-set up ko na lahat pati internet connection tapos ayaw gumana nung bala! Bad trip! Wala pa mandin akong kotse para mabilis kong maisoli 'yung bala sa GameStop. Also, I thought I had a bargain since I got the game for $21, it cost $49.99 at Target + tax. Grrrrr! I went to GameStop to have it replaced but it was the only copy left. There's another copy but it's bundled with the Wii Speak and I had to add $22 to get it. Made a mental computation, mas mura pa rin kesa sa Target. So I got it.

We played for about an hour or two. Misis Tikboy taught me the basics. I even got the chance to play with Gabe *grin* sarap ng feeling!

Thanks Mahal.. don't worry, next time I won't open the fridge as soon as I get to your house. Hehehe! And also, I'll practice fishing!
