Enough of Owen

Misis Tikboy is now back on reading. I just wish she gets enough sleep or else she will be back in the doctor's clinic once again. I know her, once she gets a hold of a good book she won't put it down. And just today she bought a few books, she's almost finished with the first one. Geez!

Well, at least her mind if off Owen. That's a good sign.

Now, back to my reading spree. I'm on my second book by David Gibbins. Now I am asking myself why I did not study nor teach Western Civilization! I've been bombarded with info on Harald Hardrada, Vespasius, Crusades, the Menorah and a lot of stuff that I haven't heard of. Which makes me curious. Now I've got to read his next book while waiting for my copy of Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol (thanks Mahal!).

Remote support via Team Viewer

Two nights ago my brother sent me a message in FB telling me that he's online. He asked me to go online so that he could send me the MS Office 2003 installer that I need for my netbook. It was two in the morning and I'm still at work but I opened my netbook and sent him a message using my BlackBerry. I opened my YM so that he could send first the TeamViewer installer. It took about 5-10 minutes before I got the file. When I got it, I installed it and then opened it. We needed the program so that he could send me other files that YM cannot handle. We thought it was going to be easy and fast but the moment he sent the file he was notified that it will take 4 hours. So, I told him that I'd just leave my computer open and then went back to sleep.

When I woke up at six in the morning, the file transfer was still ongoing. So I told him that I could not wait for it since I got to get to work. That's when he told me that he'd just remote access my computer - meaning papakialaman niya habang nasa Pinas siya at andito ako sa US. We usually do something like this when I was still in RP. So, I gave the permission. When I went back to my room to check up on the download status I saw applications in my netbook being tinkered by my brother. Then he was sending me messages via YM like: pinabilis ko na computer mo, alisin mo 'yung wallpaper at ilagay mo sa Windows classic kung gusto mo pa mas mabilis.. etc. We were supposed to install an anti-virus software but he was so sleepy so we postponed it to another day.

That night before Misis Tikboy went to work I was telling her what we did with my netbook via remote access. She said, Pwede pala 'yun? Told her that anytime she needed to have her laptop's performance checked for optimal use we could always ask Boboy to do it for us.

Ambilis mag-isip! Hehehe.. Sana applicable din 'yung
remote support/access sa tao no? Ehek!

Si Owen.. Si Owen.. Si Owen.. Palagi Na Lang Si Owen!

Got addicted pretty bad on farming games.... Since FarmTown no longer gave me challenge, I turned to a Harvest Moon, a Wii farming game. I find myself staying more at home now because of these games.

Harvest Moon is a game wherein you create your character and create own ranch from scratch. You'll have a barn - farm animals where chicken lay eggs, sheep gives you wool, cows give you milk, horses you ride. The "nice twist" in this game is that may mga "landian portion" - there are eligible bachelors and bachelorettes that your character can get involved with.

Among the bachelors, si Owen ang pinuntirya ko. A miner, loves to work long hours in the mines, loves rice dishes and cocktail. Dito umentra si Tikboy ko...

Tikboy: Ano? Nagpapaligaw ka?
Misis: Yesss! Sa game lang naman.
Tikboy: Sus!

As the game progresses, I tell my Tikboy that Owen asks me for dates now and gives me gifts. Last night, she went into a barrage of "complaints"...

Misis: Malamang
Tikboy: Ano?? Sakit dibdib ko ha..
Misis: Ungas, hindi nga????
Tikboy: Kumirot nga
Misis: Malamang sa Summer o Fall ng Year 4, magpapakasal kami
Tikboy: Anong year ka na?
Misis: 3. Winter time na
Tikboy: HMP!

I love my Tikboy when she is like this - so unpredictable, hahahahahaha!

Virtual date

Mapa Farm town, Farmville, Restaurant City man 'yan.

May Mikmik, Muniknik at Manok.

He asked me out.
Tikboy: Susme! Sino ba naging bf mo jan?
Misis: MU pa lang! Hahaha! Si Owen! Send ko pix sa 'yo.

Misis Tikboy and Owen at Caramel Falls

Mister: *selos mode pero nagtimpi* Hmp! Ang taas ng waistline ha!

Teka, ano ba talaga? BF o MU? Ehek!
