One scene. One look. One word can trigger you. You'll find yourself in an avalanche of memories. Memories that you have painstakingly buried deep inside you. Para kang matatauhan. Feeling mo na nasa ibang dimension ka na naman. You begin to ask yourself, "What the fuck am I doing again???"

*Ding* And your mind goes into a spasm. It has gone berserk... and you know what will happen next - it opened the floodgates of pain... and once again, tears fall. You close your eyes and will the pain to go away. But no, it is determined to make you remember. In a flash, there it is - a kaleidiscope of scenes... of faces.. of pictures.... of letters.

You get that stabbing feeling in the chest. You imagine your heart again is at battle. Poor thing. You grab hold of your chest. Hoping that your touch would make your heart braver.

Yeah... braver... and stronger.

Not writing much

I know I haven't been writing much. Things have been crazy after our trip to Vegas. And this week have been too much for me. It took me a day to get over what happened. I took Misis Tikboy's advice to detach myself from everything.

When I saw Misis Tikboy's post here, I smiled. Lukring talaga itong asawa ko. Alam na alam kung paano ako mapapangiti. I wanted to look for our HS photos. I haven't got any, only one person has it and I don't know how to reach her. Rehj, pakopya ng mga pix! Hehehe!

Hump!

Tignan nyo naman kung gaano ka loko itong si Tikboy ko. Sobra na ata ang "pangangailangan" at biglang pinadalhan ako ng picture na ito. Sabay sabi sa message nya ng, "Mahaaaaaaaal....", hahahahahaha! Susme! Pag hindi ka ba naman nagising agad.

Ito ang babaeng nagpatibok sa pe, este, puso ni Tikboy. Masdan nyo at damhin. Palagay ko sa "vhangs" ko na attract si Tikboy that time, hahahahahaha!

You Can't Have Your Rainbow Without The Rain

Yesterday was pretty stressful for me and Tikboy. No, hindi kami nag-away but we were in two separate "forgettable" moments. Sabi nga ni Forest Gump, life is like a box of chocolates. Things wouldn't always come out as we planned. Kahit na anong gusto mo maging smooth ang lahat ng bagay, may lalabas na aberya pa rin. Mistakes done. Lesson learned.

It might have given us a big blow but that's what makes us strong di ba Tikboy ko? Hindi naman tayo newbie sa ganitong klaseng labanan eh. It's just in a different league but the principles are still the same.

When things like this happen, I step back and look at the whole scenario. I give my heart and my ego a little rub to comfort it. Then I take a deep breath and dive in again.

Pag ganito ang nangyayari, me and my Tikboy are one. Minsan, you need to bolt in to cushion each other and protect each other from the pain.

One hour

A few minutes after landing at the San Francisco International airport I felt something odd and alarming.. the moment I boarded the BART I saw the dreaded "clouds" again. Migraine attack. Haaaay.. just a few hours of being away from Misis Tikboy makes me sick.

I miss you Misis Tikboy.. I miss you so much.

Last week after one of our chat dates I was goofing around and making Misis Tikboy giggle. When we both signed out I sent her a text message and informed her about my plan. Sabi ko may ideya na ako kung paano ko madadala ang kontrabando sa Vegas. Hehehe! Early in the conversation she was telling me that I could not bring it - carry on or checked-in baggage. So, my mind was fast enough to think of something. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, basta gusto may paraan! Hehehe.. i was planning on calling the hotel on Sunday to ask if they could accept the package that I will be buying online even though we're not checked in yet. Sabi ko nga kay Misis Tikboy, masyadong halata na atat ako kung last week ako tumawag. Hehehe!

But since I've got nothing else to do right now, I tried to call the hotel and asked about it. They told me that it was okay for as long as they could see that we have a reservation in their hotel they would hold the item. I smiled and immediately sent a message to Misis Tikboy.

Hmmm.. what's my next move? Buy the item online and have them ship it to Vegas.

Now, this is really going to be one hell of a vacation! Mwahahahahaha!

Box, packages and cards

Since I got here, me and Misis Tikboy have been exhanging packages. If she sees something that would fit me or that I could use here she'll buy it, wrap it up and send it to me. Same thing here, if I see anything that I know she would like, I'd buy it and send it over to her. The only other thing that makes me smile is that I send her greeting cards every week. Sometimes two in a week. One time she said, Ano ka ba naman? Palagi akong may card! Ang gastos mo! I told her there's nothing wrong with it, I'd like to write her notes every now and then. Kahit pa halos araw-araw kaming magkausap at magka-text, I always make it a point to send her some sweet nothings every week.

Today I got another box from Misis Tikboy, a size 20 (boys section) pants, a blue green scrub suit and a card. Loved the scrubs and the pants! When I saw the card, I immediately opened it and read it. Kaso lang, pagtingin ko napakunot ang noo ko sabay recall sa memory ko. Hmmm... looks familiar. Then it hit me, it was the same card I sent her Tuesday last week! Hindi pa lang niya natatanggap! I called her up and told her about it, tawa kami ng tawa! Hehehe..

Talk about connection. Talk about soul mates. Haaay Mahal.. I miss you so much. Nine more days.

Pinoy movies

Misis: Mahal, favor naman. May malapit na Filipino store ba diyan sa 'yo?
Mister: Yep. May DS sa baba saka sa Manila Oriental. Bakit?
Misis: Bili mo naman ako ng Filipino DVD na comedy. 'Yung Tangina Ina.
Mister: O sige, sa off ko punta ako dun o kaya tanong ako kung saan may bilihan.

True to my word I bought Misis Tikboy a DVD today. After my meeting at downtown I immediately went back to South City and gave Kuya Lito a call. He picked me up at SSF Bart station and then we went to Daly City to check out the DVD collection at Karaoke Discount near Walgreens at the top of the hill. It is famous for Pinoy DVDs and most of the Filipinos here go there to buy them. I was disappointed with their collection. I was expecting an extensive collection of movies but I guess they offer only the "saleable" stuff. I bought Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat for $17.99. The online price is $19.99 at ABS-CBN''s Starry Starry Store. Good deal then.

So, this is another new discovery for me. Whenever Misis Tikboy requests for a Pinoy movie I could just ride the 390 bus and get off at Wendy's and cross the street going to Walgreens.

Hmmm.. sayang, if Misis Tikboy is here right now we could watch John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo's You Changed My Life movie here in San Francisco. Now I'll just watch out for the release of the DVD copy and then send it to Misis Tikboy.
