myNavi

Woke up early today to do a walk through of our first step toward an adventure trip from NorCal to SoCal. I wanted to familiarize myself with where to go and what to expect before I drag (yes, drag) my wife into this. So, as early as 6 we were already on the phone and I was already observing how it's going to be when we finally do it by next week.

I had my one last look at the Port of San Francisco at 6:35 in the morning and a glimpse of The Embarcadero, Bay Bridge and the Wharf.

After the ocular visit, I told my wife that I wanted to eat by the Fisherman's Wharf. Took the liberty of walking (I hardly ride a bus these days, I seldom use my bike too) towards the Wharf. But when I got there I had the sudden urge to visit Swan Oyster Depot at Polk St. I went there a couple of times before but I didn't take the same route. So, today I tried to take another route. I was getting a little bit lost and needed GPS on my phone but I don't have that feature. All I have is Google Maps and MapQuest. But the thing is, I can't use the application and at the same time talk on the phone (yeah, yeah.. I know AT&T can do that and T-Mobile can't but I'm not switching to the other network). What I did then was call my wife and asked her to google the directions and then just guide me as I walk and we talk on the phone. Pretty cool huh? My very own personal navigator.

My wife was very patient, yihiiiiii! After around an hour of walking, I was able to get to my destination. Here's what I ate:

Sarap!

Aging + Back rub = Orgasm

I was talking to Misis Tikboy the other day when this equation suddenly flashed into my mind - aging + back rub = orgasm. I was serious but my wife was laughing. She said, "Kung anu-ano naiisip mo!" Well, I work in an elderly care facility and this is what I do almost every morning - giving back rubs when I give my residents a bath. Paano ko ba kasi naisip 'to?

"Ooooohhhh... that is so good. Do it again down there."

"That is soooooo nice. Do it again."
"Aaaaaahhhh... that feels good. Go all the way down. Yes. Yes. That's it."

Isang paraan na kaya 'yun back rub? Wala lang, naisip ko lang ba.

HDTV + Wii Console + Neflix Instant Streaming = Movies

I just finished watching 2 movies via Netflix - 2012 and Angels and Demons. I've always wanted to watch these movies but I couldn't get a copy of the DVD at Red Tube.. wait, did I get that right? Ooooopppsss... it's Red Box. :D Also, I do not have a DVD player, so I was trying to think of ways on using my HDTV aside from making it function as LCD monitor for my Animal Crossing: City Folk game. When I saw this commercial on TV

I got intrigued by it and googled it. After browsing through their website I found out that they do have a 1 month free trial period. So, I signed up for it. There are 3 ways in which you could enjoy watching a movie:
1. using the instant streaming disc which will allow you to watch a movie on your TV via Wii, PS3;
2. Watching instantly on your computer or TV; and
3. Wait for the DVD to be shipped for free to your home.

So far I've only tried #2. I called them a while ago and they told me that the disc will arrive by Friday. I'm excited to try it because I'd really love to maximize my TV. Tried to set up a splitter so that I can have Comcast in it. It works, but it's just like a clone. Whatever program is showing on TV 1 will be played on my HDTV. So, that's not really good since I have a roomie who watches only TFC which I don't really like.

Hmmm.. after I signed up and installed the viewing software in my netbook I browsed the list of movies and immediately saw a few that I've been wanting to watch such as: The Proposal, The Blind Side, Shutter Island, 2012, Angels and Demons and The Notebook, to name a few. When I saw The Proposal I immediately made a mental note that I will watch it with Misis Tikboy as soon as she gets home. So, I chose 2012 as my first trial movie. How did it go? On the technical side it was very good. The streaming speed was fast, the picture was clear and the audio was also great coupled with the fact that I used my RF-MAB2 bluetooth stereo headset as speakers. It as amazing! The movie wasn't so bad at all. I've seen a couple of Apocalypse movies such as Deep Impact and Armageddon eons ago. 2012 differs because it uses the concept of building an ark similar to Noah's Ark only now it's techie. I'll get into movie reviews as soon as I settle into the technical side of things. For now I just wanted to try it out and see if it's worth having for $8.99 a month.

Next movie: Avatar: The Last Airbender 3.

I Almost Got Bitten By A Scorpion!!!

"I almost got bitten by a scorpion!" - text ko agad kay Tikboy
"Aha! Patingin naman ng town mo!" - text pabalik ni Tikboy

Huh? Town???? Animal Crossing.

"Shunga!

I've heard about it... I've seen pictures... most of all I know how potent their venom is.

Nagkataong may tumawag, importante. Crucial.

Buset.

Sirang Plaka

Lately it's been very stressful at work. Sometimes I feel I want to just scream and tell them to back off. It's not the patients and my staff. I adore my patients. I yearn to be a part of their journey towards remission. I love my staff. I think they're great... walang etching. I believe that they give their 101% when they are at work. Sobra mag hover. * Hello, you're invading my personal space... *

A person can only take so much.

Maybe they're forgetting that we are all adults here.

Utang na loob. Shut up ka nga muna.
