What's keeping me busy?

Hehehe!

Whenever my wife goes to work I am left alone in my apartment. She knows that I will get restless. But she knows me too well. She observed that I habitually look at the refrigerator and scratch my head as if I'm thinking of what to take out. So, she made sure that the fridge has a lot of food in it. Hehehe!

Nilantakan ko 'yung 4 pound strawberries at naubos ko siya within two days. Ngayon, itong grapes naman ang tina-target ko. Hmmm.. hindi kaya lumobo na ako nito? Halaaaaa! Wala pa naman akong exercise! Teka, teka.. let me take that back.. matindi pala ang exercise ko. Hehehehe! Di ba Misis Tikboy? *kindat*

Yesterday afternoon she taught me how to do laundry. I was amazed by the heavy duty washer and dryer that I used. She just smiled at me and said that I'll get used to the changes.

I sometimes forget that I am here in the US. Pag nagkukwentuhan kasi kami I often tell her "dito kasi sa Pinas" and then she would correct me, "Andito ka na sa Amerika baby." Funny, I don't feel like I'm here. Probably because I am not yet working. I'm still on vacation mode. I still drive hindi nga lang motorsiklo ang hawak ko kundi SUV. And the road signs are not the same in the Philippines. The speed limit is also different, the speedometer is in mph not kph. So, I am forced to learn everything in a short span of time. Nakukurot nga ako ni Misis Tikboy pag nagkakamali ako! But it is fun. Everyday is a learning experience for me.

I observed that drivers here in Arizona are very courteous. Those in California drive like hell. The plate numbers here in AZ are only placed at the rear part of the car. I don't know why. Most of the cars are A/T. I am not used to it, I drive a stick shift car back home and I still prefer to drive one. But I should say that cars with A/T can ba maneuvered easier and is ideal for long driving.

I am not sure if I can get a driver's license here, I'd have to go to DMV and ask if I can. Well, let's see.
